Project Description and Scope:

Introduction

The VSE Career Centre is seeking students that are interested in processing past out-going communications in order to forecast and anticipate marketing needs of the VSE Career Centre in the upcoming school year.

Students would have the opportunity to

  • Closely read and organize two years of out-going communications sent by the VSE Career Centre according to events, timing, and other relevant categories
  • Identify trends in the archived messages to anticipate future marketing needs of the VSE Career Centre and construct a communications strategy for the upcoming school year
  • Work with the project management tool Monday.com to create a detailed timeline for upcoming marketing and communications needs
  • Analyze the tone, structure, and diction of prior communications to develop a “standard” template for future out-going messages
  • Provide recommendations for our plan moving forward

  • You like working with marketing and communications
  • You enjoy large, analytical projects and using data to develop brand strategy

Qualifications:

  • Excellent language and communication skills
  • Able to analyze written work and isolate its identifying stylistic qualities
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to handle large amounts of content
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Able to interpret trends in order to forecast future needs
  • Able to organize information in a system that is clear and easily accessible

Student will receive:

  • Weekly oversight through prescheduled meetings
  • Constant feedback on operations
  • Recommendations and potential to return for other projects after completion
