research data analytics policy evaluation education policy social justiceThe Experience More initiative at Thompson Rivers University is seeking proposals for several 12-14 week projects from a variety of organizations that have project needs in the fields of Social Justice, Educational Policy, Sustainability. Organizations need only to present their real-world problems to solve and groups of Master of Arts and Master of Education Students. Students or individual students will select the projects to work on for the term of the experiential learning opportunity.
Bring on teams of 2 students from Thompson Rivers University enrolled in the Experience More initiative to work with you in a project-based experience. Students are available for a maximum of 30-50 hours (over the duration of the course) for the project.
Learners
Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the project. The student should complete 30-50 hours with your organization by the end of the project.
Typical final project deliverables could include:
- Final project report
- Completed data sets for unique project goals
- Final presentations and supporting documents, manuals, etc.

These students are equipped with advanced skills and a passion for creating positive societal impact. Below are examples of projects they can help you with:
1. Social Justice Research and Advocacy:
- Conduct in-depth research on social justice issues relevant to your organization, including equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives.
- Analyze policies and recommend strategies for promoting fairness, equality, and human rights.
- Develop advocacy campaigns or educational materials to raise awareness and drive change.
- Best suited for: Non-profits, community organizations, government bodies, and advocacy groups.
2. Educational Program Development:
- Design and develop curriculum or educational materials that align with your organizational mission.
